Fall Beach Vacation (part 4)

I know, y'all are wondering if this vacation is ever going to end...well we come home in this post!
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

Sunday, October 14, 2012~ Everyone else in our crew left this day, but thankfully we had planned on not leaving until Monday. Our plans were to spend the day at the beach, but when we got up it was overcast & sprinkling. So we opted to go to the outlets instead. We shopped for Lucy a birthday outfit. No luck! It shouldn't be this hard to find a cute yellow/gray outfit! There is a playground and carousel in the middle of the outlets. Bella had a ball! This is the 1st time she's ridden the carousel and enjoyed it, without being scared. On our way back, both the girls passed out! After they got in a cat-nap in the truck we changed clothes and headed out for more fun. We went to the pool/splash pad thinking Bella would enjoy it. There were other kids running around, so she was hesitant about playing. She started whining. We decided that if she wasn't enjoying it that we were going to do what we enjoyed. We loaded up and went to the beach. We had so much fun!! The waves were pretty big. And there were no jellyfish or seaweed (if I get a glimpse of either-you won't see me in the water). Jacob and I played out in the water like we were little kids! We built sand castles, fed the birds, then chased the birds away. It wasn't crowded. It was perfect! We rinsed off the sand & salt, changed clothes and ate dinner at LuLu's. Bella ate and loved some crab claws! Jacob and I tried the blackened Mahi-Mahi. It was good! We sat up close to the loud band. The girls danced.

Monday, October 15, 2012~ go home day. The plan was to pack up then go to the beach for a few hours then leave. But when we woke up it was overcast & even came a light rain. Boo! We were on pack up mode. I cleaned the camper and packed up, just as we finished, the sun popped out. We considered going to the beach. But decided to be boring and get on the road. We stopped at Lambert's Cafe and enjoyed one last vacation chow down. Oink oink, is all I'm going to say! 5 hours later we pulled in the driveway to begin unloading and washing everything.

I'm ready to go back!
