Highlight Reel Bella-1 year old

I'm just a little behind on my highlight reels. A few days ago, I was inspired to finish this one of Bella at 1 year old. That is maybe the perfect age. It's an innocent age. A sweet age. An age of learning, exploring and being silly. A age of MAJOR growth...physically and mentally.

It's adorable to watch her learn so much...

how to talk
taking her 1st steps
how much she loves playing with babies
how the reflection in the mirror will always copy what she does
how to give the evil eye
how splashing is so much fun
that she loved her 1st boat ride
mommy's heels are really loud and fun to walk in
WE learned how fearless she is in water.

Forgive my amateur-ness. I wish I owned an HD video camera, but I don't. Actually more than half of these were just taken with my cell phone. Either way, I caught them and now I'll enjoy them the rest of my life. I hope you enjoy watching some of the everyday highlights of Bella's 1st year.

Our 1st time at iJump!

My sisters and I took the girls to iJump for the 1st time and we all had so much fun!! At 1st Bella and Rylee was just a little timid, so we were happy to slide and go through the bouncy houses with them. Lucy was just as happy as she could be sitting in her stroller watching everyone!

Then they got brave and climbed up the tall ladder and slid down themselves! It was hilarious to see them roll and crash at the bottom, but every time they would get up smiling and do it again. But what was REALLY FUNNY was watching Lindsay get STUCK in the Kiddie Castle bouncy house! It took her 1 minute & 45 seconds to finally get herself over the last obstacle. I know because I recored it, I would share it, but she would kill me! I was crying I was laughing so hard.

While we were there, the big kids got beat up a little bit...Lindsay busted her lip, Caitlin got butt-burns from sliding in her short shorts and I broke my pinky toe! But none of it slowed us down, we were having a ball!

All 3 girls passed out on the way home. They had so much fun. Bella is already asking when we can go back!

Summer family photos!!

Last month we did another mini-session with Kamin. Of course, she caught some amazing photos that I will forever cherish!

Lindsay, Nick and Rylee had a session right before us, so Kamin was able to get a few of us together.

Bella-2 1/2 years old. Lucy-6 months old. Rylee-2 years old.

We are missing Caitlin!

Happy Birthday!

Today is Jacob's birthday! I threw together a little surprise family dinner for him when he got home from work. He got home a little early, so not everyone was here yet. But he was surprised, so I think it was a success. He always makes fun of me because my parents will still cook me a birthday dinner & cake, blow up balloons and invite family over. He jokes and says how old are you going to have to be to stop having birthday parties...I said NEVER! But I think he enjoyed his birthday party this evening!

I love to catch the mouth-open-chewing picture when people aren't paying attention. Lindsay knows my evil ways and covered up...but Nick caught me trying to catch him and gave me a little more that I was wanting!

Jacob doesn't like cake or even sweets really ( I know, it's the strangest thing). So we opted for sweet watermelon instead. Bella helped him blow out the candle.
