Tennessee Vacation with great friends...Fall 2013

Jacob and I went to Gatlinburg, TN on our 1 year anniversary.  While we loved our cute cabin, we were didn't have the best time and decided to spend our vacations else where.  Some good friends invited us to spend a long weekend with them in the mountains, we excitingly agreed.  We figured out that we did our anniversary trip all wrong.  The Kissics showed us how to have a great time.  We hit up the outlets for some great deals, strolled downtown Gatlinburg, filled our bellies and enjoyed a little football. We stayed at Wilderness at the Smokies resort and had an amazing time there.  They have an indoor water park that was so much fun!!! I hope we have many more trips like this one.  Wonderful memories made!

Jacob was so excited to get Bella on the ride...we did have to teach her to stand on her tip toes if asked to stand next to the measuring tape and we had to wait until the more lenient life guards were on those rides.... 

But she LOVED IT!!!

Jen was super scared of the huge drop on this ride.  I belly laughed so hard the entire time.  

She's adorable.  He's hot.  I'm so happy they are all mine!

This was hilarious.  Mr Moose and Mrs Moose, all 4 of our girls and a red-faced Jacob right in the middle.

Dinner at the Old Mill was great.

The guys checked out Old Smoky Moonshine while us girls danced to the banjo and drank free hot chocolate.

Fall 2013 mini-session....my favorite

On a beautiful fall day, we had a mini-session planned with our old friend and photographer, Kamin Williams at the Blue Springs Manor. When we got there we were surrounded by natural beauty.  The girls were in a great mood and I knew this was going to be a fun time and amazing photos.  After looking at these earlier today, I've decided that these are my very favorite mini-session photos!!!  (THESE were a close 2nd)

I treasure these.  Our girls are growing faster than the speed of light and with each busy day I forget to stop and appreciate their cuteness.  Taking family photos regularly, it burns into my memory these sweet, oh so sweet moments of my life.  

I am ever so grateful.

To my Lovely Lucy on your 2nd Birthday~

just a few hours old.

To my lovely Lucy,

It has been 2 years since that “Love at 1^st sight” moment.

You are walking and talking and copying everything your big sister does.  I am trying so hard to stop time, but you grow more & more each passing day.  You make me laugh at how silly you are sometimes.  You are a little sassy when you want to be too.  Bella loves you so much.  She constantly wants to hug and kiss you.  You don’t always like her in your space, but you love following her and trying to copy her words. I want you two girls to value how precious sisterhood is & how lucky you girls are to have one another.  I feel that giving you each other is and will always be my greatest gift to each of you. You enjoy playing with all of your friends at Mrs. Betty’s while Mommy and Daddy are at work.  I usually rock you before bed each night.  We both love this time together.  You love to sleep.  You are usually in bed by 8pm.  On the weekends you usually sleep until 9am or so.  You never cry for us to come get you out of bed.  We just check on you and your sitting in your crib playing.  For the most part you are very content and don’t mind playing alone, but prefer being your big sisters side-kick. 

You are so beautiful.  Every time you say goodbye you automatically pucker those lips up.  You have the sweetest sugar.  I love your kisses. 

Today, we celebrate you and our wonderful life with you.  I consider each day that God allows us to be together, a blessing.  I love to see you smile and to hear your voice.  I love when you hug me tight and want to hold my hand.  Please know that I will always love you oh so much.  I praise our good Lord above for allowing me to be your mommy.
